Hi Everyone!
Welcome to my blog! I've never done this before, so I hope you all enjoy hearing about my experiences in China. My friend Jordan and I are flying from Aberdeen on August 6.
This is my second year going to China through Community Collaborations International. I am part of the Leadership Team and will be leading a group of 9 other volunteers.
It sounds like we have a wide range of volunteering activities to do, such as providing support/information in hotels, conducting Olympic research, and doing some environmental projects. We also got to sign up for our Olympic tickets the other day. I get to see Women's and Men's gymnastics, Women's 100 meter hurdles, and Men's diving. We will also get to see some cultural sights such as Tianamen Square, Temples, and my favorite, The Great Wall of China. I'll keep you all posted. Please pray that I have a safe journey.
